B/P Hero Team Build
Here's what I used for my Ranger when missioning and running mission for customers. Not sure if it has been posted b4, so pardon me if it has already been posted. Its nothing new actually, basically the old B/P with some adjustments.
Myself: Ranger
2 other Rangers Heros + 1 Necro Hero
Here are the skill setup:
Ranger #1 (Myself): R/Mo - 16M/13E/4BM
Barrage/Savage Shot/Distracting Shot/Throw Dirt/Dodge/Comfort Animal/Charm Animal/Rebirth
[skill]Barrage[/skill][skill]savage shot[/skill][skill]distracting shot[/skill][skill]throw dirt[/skill][skill]dodge[/skill][skill]comfort animal[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill][skill]rebirth[/skill]
Explaination: This can actually be made a splinter barrager, however i chose to go monk for the rebirth. Dodge is used in case things gets nasty and I can run away. Remember, I used this for running missions, and getting wiped isn't good for reputation.
Ranger #2 (Hero): R/W - 16M/10E/9Com/4/BM
Barrage/Savage Shot/Distracting Shot/"Watch Yourself!"/Winnowing/Comfort Animal/Charm Animal/Resurrection Signet
[skill]Barrage[/skill][skill]savage shot[/skill][skill]distracting shot[/skill][skill]"watch yourself!"[/skill][skill]Winnowing[/skill][skill]comfort animal[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Ranger #3 (Hero): R/P - 16M/10E/6WS/8Tac/3BM
Barrage/Savage Shot/Distracting Shot/"Go for the Eyes!"/Favorable Winds/Comfort Animal/Charm Animal/Signet of Return
[skill]Barrage[/skill][skill]savage shot[/skill][skill]distracting shot[/skill][skill]"Go for the Eyes!"[/skill][skill]Favorable Winds[/skill][skill]comfort animal[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill][skill]Signet of Return[/skill]
Necro #4 (Hero): N/Mo - 16DM/11Blood/9SR
Animate Bone Fiend/Animate Bone Horror/Blood of the Master/Order of the Vampire/Dismiss Condition/Signet of Lost Souls/Dark Bond/Resurrection Chant
[skill]animate bone fiend[/skill][skill]animate bone horror[/skill][skill]blood of the master[/skill][skill]Order of the Vampire[/skill][skill]Dismiss condition[/skill][skill]signet of lost souls[/skill][skill]dark bond[/skill][skill]resurrection chant[/skill]
Explaination: Reason for the skills I used are that they synergize with each other.
-With Favourable Winds and Winnowing, you get a automatic +10 dmg to your bows, not to mention the +4 dmg from all your fiends.
-Go for the eyes works well with Barrage as well as the minions
-You don't really need an Elite for a MM to be work, so Order of Vamp works fine by adding +13 (at 11 blood magic) dmg to all the bows attack. Not forgetting life gains. Dismiss Condition helps in clearing blinds from rangers esp when hench monks don't bring condition removals.
-Pets serve as tanks as well as corpse for minions.
Henchies: Some of the henchies I brought to fill in the space are 2 monks, and any other non caster henchies. Reason being that physical dmg will work well in this team build. Warriors, Rangers or Pargon are usually what i brought with me.
This build has been the one I liked best and have been using it all along to run missions for people throughout the 3 campaigns. Some adjustments can be made to the heros. For example barrange can be swap out for Broadhead Arrow for missions with dangerous caster boss (eg. Dasha Vestibu). And for areas with little corpse, the necro can go full blood and some curse spells can be added to deal with enemies. Spoilt Victor can be used for missions like GOM to replace Order of Vamp.
Feedbacks will be nice, however please keep them to constructive ones. Any questions can be posted here, I will try to answer it as best as I can.
Note: This build is not my original idea. It is taken from the old B/P build idea with some adjustments here and there.
Enjoy.

i am using a similar bp build as well. however, instead of using order and winnowing +fav wind, i having my nec run a curse/death build. Main curse spells include barbs(does around 15-16 per physical hit, bow+pet+minions= alot of dmg per sec, can take down bosses in a sec), SS, Mark of Pain(very good for balled up mobs), bone fiends etc. Sometimes also bring utility skill on my nec such as enchant removal or hex removal.
For ranger, i usually run an extra interupt (disrupting shot?) or mend touch for self condition removal as the hench monks are very bad in condition/hex removals.

Heroes pwn at playing b/p, it's just their cup of tea. I posted my own b/p build in the builds section. I like 'watch yourself', that might be a good idea for my own build as well.

Change MM to N/D, add Masochism and Mystic Regeneration to your MM. You'll love him

I ran a build in tombs for a while which included "Save Yourselves!", you could give your "Watch yourself!" hero another job, and take the shouting on as your job. With barrage you can pretty much charge it every shot, so its well worth it for the +100 armour.
Either that, or keep your Watch yourself! hero just for the armour during Save Yourself! downtime.

Am thinking of making some new changes to the build. Maybe something that invloves using volley in place of barrage for the rangers and some new elites for them.
Lately, I have been running Blood/ Curse Necro with Order of vamp, Enfeeble, Mark of Pain and Barbs.
Any suggestions?

If running in high melee mob areas, especially in HM, I might suggest changing one of the rangers to Ranger/Dervish and taking [skill]Volley[/skill] and [skill]ebon dust aura[/skill] to negate about 90% of the damage

Thats a good idea, however it will not get the benefits of Order of Vamp, Barbs, Mark of Pain.
But its a good addition to the build if i decide not to run an oov/curse necro.

Bring a R/RT Splinter or Warmonger's or Brutal weapon Barrager (its still effective in general pve) and add stand your ground to your R/P. You still have backline support.
As you can see, r/rt has a vast number of possibilities of weapon spells.
Just if you don't know:
[skill]"stand your ground!"[/skill]

Just wondering if the recent updates have improve the hero AI in using weapons spell. It would be great if they start to apply it on the correct users. When I use it in the past, they tend to cast it on casters and rarely on the barrager
Edit: Tested splinter on the hero rangers, they finally cast it on the right people after the update

Volley doesn't trigger order of vamp, barbs, and mark of pain?

Volley does, but Ebon Dust Aura requires the use of an earth bowstring. Thus does not trigger order of vamp, barbs and mark of pain.

I tried to get this to work awhile ago but kept seeing splinter on the monks and casters so i stopped using it. Did they specifically improve hero AI so that they do now cast splinter on themselves instead of others?

They seem to have improved the AI so that it recognizes an offensive weapon spell and prefers to cast it on an attacker. They will still cast it on other attackers before they cast it on themselves sometimes.

just fine, MM doesn't need a buff on healing.
Save Yourselves is good tho on yourself. Depending on your rank you may want to add FGY as well. But not necessary.
[skill]"Shields up!"[/skill] may be a nice skill to add as well, depending on explorable

My friend hero monks uses spear and shield. And my ranger hero cast splinter weapons on them. Took us a while to figure why that happened :P
But not much to complain, more dmg from the monks when they are not healing.

Pick 2 rangers + 1 MM, either variant. This was my standard vanquishing builds for Tyria, Cantha, Elona and EOTN. 3 Rangers with pets is fun, too... not the most effective, but I love my 3 different wolves a lot.
Barrage Pet Rangers with SS and MM Necro have a lot of Synergy - as Necro i need physical attackers for Mark of Pain.
You neglected Splinter Weapon in favor of GFTE and stuff, maybe you should get at least one of them in your team.
If you need prot spirit, take Sab's Necro build with Bone Minions, which has Prot spirit. I usually take Zho and Herta along. P.S.: My Rangers use major expertise (head) and major marksmanship and a vitae rune instead of wilderness survival. Except the MM the only heroes I have that run a sup/dual majors, but for rangers it works out very well with high expertise.
